I also developed and produced award-winning TV spots and communications campaign that introduced the brand to Virginians in a clear, engaging, and memorable way. As copywriter and creative director for the Virginia Cannabis Control Authority’s Safe Driving PSA, I helped develop a concept that used humor and nostalgia to deliver a serious message. The animated spot played off the countless nicknames for marijuana used over the decades — highlighting that no matter what you call it, driving high is dangerous and illegal. With a clever script and vibrant visuals, the campaign aimed to engage a broad audience while reinforcing responsible behavior on the road.

For the Virginia Department of Health’s "Curb The Crisis" campaign, I helped raise awareness about opioid addiction and recovery resources throughout the state. The campaign included an animated explainer on safe medication storage and disposal, as well as a powerful testimonial video featuring a former user’s personal journey through addiction and recovery. Both pieces were designed to educate, reduce stigma, and connect Virginians with life-saving information. Through compelling storytelling and clear messaging, the campaign brought empathy and urgency to a critical public health issue. Along with video and social strategy, I served as the copywriter for their website content.

I led Reingold Inc.’s 40th anniversary announcement and rebrand rollout, blending celebration with storytelling. I crafted a campaign that unveiled the new logo and branding while paying tribute to the company's 1985 origin through bold, era-inspired visuals. The result was a nostalgic yet forward-looking tribute that honored Reingold’s legacy and energized its future.
